I have the last patch made available for Timeshock, and as for getting it to work in XP there's just a setting that needs to be changed.
Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball Daniel, I just e-mailed you the files. I can send it to anyone else that needs it. You just put these patches in your appropriate folders, and run the programs in 'Windows 98/Me' compatibility mode. Thanks, Mark Daniel Tonks wrote: 'nterFr@' wrote in message news:[email protected]. Do I need to patch Timeshock? To be the first of the new ULTRA Editions. 16 posts • Page 1 of 2 • 1, 2. By the way are you using Windows 7 or Windows 8. I know this patches are working right on xp and 7 but I don't know if it will work right on windows 8. Apparently there are problems with the Kickstarter version and windows 8.
Any other places? Fixx 'Gott Lieb?'

Fixx I'm going to put these up on my webspace when I get home this evening. It seems the Pro Pinball games are being supported less and less. (Hardly surprising I suppose as the series is coming up to 10 years old).

Haven't been able to play that yet. Question: Is the Empire server required to do this? Any other working tips? Question: My friend bought the bulk pack from Interplay a while back and I noticed that the first one 'the Web' had no music tracks.
(which I thought were very good) So I copied my original and he now can play with the music. Anyone know why this was the case? Music on those is old-fashioned CD audio tracks, and I don't think it works well with the current digital playback style of Windows XP either. So you'll likely need to have an analog CD audio cable hooked up from the back of your CD/DVD drive to your sound card (something that's been almost completely dropped lately).
Or at least check your audio playback levels in the Windows sound mixer. It's a while since I played it but if I remember rightly, it doesn't have a local link option and does need the Empire server (which they have switched off due to lack of interest). Don't forget to badger them by email!

Anyone know why this was the case? I'm not familiar with that pack, but it sounds like they didn't include the audio tracks on the CD. The Web and Timeshock! Played audio from the CD. The later games installed it to the hard drive. Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball 'Paul Drabik' wrote in news.470 @g14g2000cwa.googlegroups.com: Thanks so much for posting these. By all accounts it's a bit tricky to set up and doesn't always work. Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball does anyone knows where i can get (xp) patches for Pro Pinball??? nterFr@ I installed Pro Pinball CD for Win95 + Win98 on XP by compatibility assistent: Timeshock! + BigRaceUSA. On VISTA I also installed Fantastic Journey. Only The Web is still missing, and it is not listed in Windows Compatibility table for Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista at support.empireinteractive.com.
There are also a few FAQs regarding to 'Unable to run loader' or 'the web cd is missing'. I will try their work-around to reset the registry entries.
